Member Travel

Due to the unprecedented and continuing threat of COVID-19, VMFA Member Travel programs scheduled to depart through March of 2021 have been canceled or postponed. At this time, all of the trips published on the website below are expected to operate as planned, and are open to all members for registration. Registered travelers will be contacted if there are any changes in the status of their trip. Deposits and final payment terms vary for each individual trip, and many have very flexible policies allow you to secure your place on the trip and make your final decision closer to the departure date. We will be updating this page as new information becomes available.

The goal of the Member Travel Program is to provide stimulating combinations of discovery, culture, good fellowship and educational travel opportunities for a community drawn together by membership in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Early registration for travel opportunities is a benefit beginning at the Patrons membership level. After this period, registration is open to all members on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel the world and enjoy VMFA’s art-focused itineraries. Exclusive travel opportunities are a benefit of VMFA Membership.
