Member Travel

Due to the unprecedented and rapidly evolving threat of Covid-19, VMFA Member Travel programs scheduled to depart before April 15, 2020 have been cancelled. For trips scheduled to depart between April 15 and May 31, 2020, our tour operators for individual trips are offering guests the option to defer travel with no penalties or fees. If you are currently registered on one of these trips, please contact your tour operator for information. At this time, there are no changes for our trips scheduled to depart after May 31. However, we will be updating this page and the status of these trips as necessary.

The goal of the Member Travel Program is to provide stimulating combinations of discovery, culture, good fellowship and educational travel opportunities for a unique community drawn together by membership in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  Early registration for travel opportunities is a benefit beginning at the Patrons membership level. After this period, registration is open to all members on a first-come, first-served basis. Travel the world and enjoy VMFA’s Art-Focused Itineraries. Exclusive travel opportunities are a benefit of VMFA Membership.
