Recto, proper left, at bottom above foot: Imperial Warrant over Kfaberge (in Cyrillic) indicating Moscow manufacture; 88 for silver quality; left-facing kokoshnik for 1899-1908, initials of assay master Ivan Lebedkin. Same marks on the back of folding easel, except 84, indicating a lower quality of silver. Scratched mark on verso of double eagle at top of frame "165V 13 Um/-/"
