This statuette, excavated at Giza, bears the inscription of its owner: “The Purifying Priest of the King, the Funerary Priest of Khufu [Cheops], the Tenant, Ka-her-iset-ef.” The priest’s brother, Kednes, also had his name inscribed on the back pillar.
