This beautiful tour covers the amazing diversity of Southern Africa, beginning in sophisticated Johannesburg, with visits to art galleries and museums such as the home of Nelson Mandela and the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Museum in Soweto. Continue to Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls, known as “the Smoke That Thunders,” truly one of the most spectacular sites on earth. View wild animals in vast Chobe National Park in Botswana, before continuing to Namibia to climb the red sand dunes near Soususvlei. Conclude in lovely Cape Town, with visits to the wine country, Table Mountain, and Robben Island. There is an optional post-trip extension to Kruger National Park.
