A perennial favorite for VMFA Member Travel, this trip features medieval monasteries, historic fortresses, and stately palaces, each reflecting the legacy of Iberia’s rich Roman and Moorish past. Cities include Lisbon, Evora, Carmona, Ronda, Ubeda, and Madrid; sites visited include the National Palace of Queluz, Roman ruins at Mérida, the renowned Catédral of Seville, Granada’s Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, and, of course, the Prado in Madrid.
