Collection Connections are curator-led gallery programs that explore links between works of art in different collection areas throughout the museum.

Artists working in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods often applied their design motifs to lithography, illustration, advertisements, prints and book cover design. Join Lee Bagby Viverette, Director of Library, Archives and Special Collections. and Barry Shifman, Sydney and Frances Lewis Family Curator – Decorative Arts from 1890 to the Present, to explore how turn-of-the century artists such as Alphonse Mucha, Eugene Grasset, Georges Barbier, Jessie King, and others are represented in the Rare Book Collection and how the materials relate to works on view in the Decorative Arts Galleries.
