EDUCATION
VCU PODCASTS
These podcasts were created by graduate students at Virginia Commonwealth University enrolled in Art Education 670 - Technology in Art Education, taught by Dr. Melanie L. Buffington. This class focused on aspects of Web 2.0, including podcasts, blogs, and wiki. Working in collaboration with museum personnel, the students made the podcasts to help visitors understand select works in the Rule Britannia! exhibit. The students developed the content based upon their research, their own analysis of the works, and their discussions with each other. The project was supported with a grant from the Center for Teaching Excellence at Virginia Commonwealth University. You can subscribe to these podcasts by inserting this link - http://www.vmfa.museum/rule/vcu_podcast.xml - into your podcast application.
