Five Key Goals for the New VMFA

  1. To create a more welcoming presence and open the campus to the Boulevard

  2. To provide expanded gallery space for the art collections and major exhibitions

  3. To broaden educational services and accommodate more school group tours

  4. To create a sculpture garden at the heart of a newly landscaped and unified campus

  5. To improve visitor amenities, including a parking deck that will double available parking space at the Museum
