VMFA: What's New: VMFA BUSINESS COUNCIL

The VMFA Business Council is a group of local businesspeople who are closely associated with VMFA and its mission, serving the Museum by soliciting new and increased corporate gifts to the VMFA Fund and corporate support for special Museum projects.

The purpose of the Business Council is to:

Provide the Museum with greater entrée into the business community.
Foster a familiarity with the arts in general and the Museum’s mission in particular among the business community.
Raise awareness of the valuable contributions the Museum makes to the quality of life and economic vitality of the region.
Identify and provide introduction to potential corporate funding sources for special Museum projects and the VMFA Fund.

The Muse Awards are the brainchild of the Business Council, which developed the program as a fresh, innovative approach to celebrate the extraordinary creative talent that exists in Virginia businesses, while at the same time creating a buzz about VMFA as a resource for creative enrichment for individuals and businesses alike.
