Through unique hands-on activities, storybook reading, gallery visits, and more, VMFA's youngest artists-from toddlers to preschoolers-embrace a world of art, culture, and imagination. Made by Me, My First Art Camp and Young @ Art are designed with Virginia's Foundation Blocks for Early Learning in mind to foster cognitive and motor development, creative growth, and self expression. These activities emphasize skills related to good citizenship, personal expression, reading, problem solving, and motor skills, all while introducing history, science, and language arts curriculum. Not to mention that THEY'RE FUN!
