- Description
- The foundation of Valerie Peyton Horn's boldly glamorous jewelry is ormolu, the bronze mounts used to ornament furniture, boxes, clocks, and books, predominantly from the French Louis XIV to the Louis XVI period. Traveling four months of the year, mostly in the Far East, to locate these unique pieces, she then uses metallic thread to fashion lightweight, yet striking, jewelry with her finds. Stop by the VMFA Shop on May 24 and 25 from 12 – 8 pm for a trunk show and sale of Valerie’s stunning work.
